Stolen advertising?

Dear Editor:

With regard to Mitchell Reed, who confessed to stealing hundreds of newspapers and throwing them away (not even recycling them), what restitution does he provide for advertisers who spent money supporting the paper (and the community)?

Ironically he took an invisible story and made it front-page news … not exactly helping himself or his friend.

Crime doesn’t pay!
