Steve Edward Williams, born Sept. 27, 1962, to Gordon and Laurel Williams, in Leadville, Colo., passed away at his home on Feb. 15, 2011.

Steve grew up in the Western Slope of Colorado, where he enjoyed a wide variety of outdoor activities and became an accomplished nature photographer. He graduated from Basalt High School in Basalt, Colo. and later moved to Atlanta, Ga. He was a state-certified master plumber, active in the local church and a treasured son, brother, father, grandfather and friend. Steve had a passion for all things outdoors including camping, fishing, whitewater rafting, gardening and especially hunting, which he shared with his son. Steve enjoyed spending time along the Line Creek Nature Trail walking his dog.

Steve is survived by his mother, Laurel Williams; sister Rosalie and Tom Lewin; niece Ashley Lewin; sister Cindy Williams and Brad Leach; and his wife, Theresa Williams; son Brian Ray and Marissa Ray; granddaughter Julia Ray; daughter Erica Osborn and Russel Osborn.

Memorial services were held on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011 at Cathedral of Christ the King Episcopal Church in Sharpsburg, Ga.
