Dear Editor:On behalf of the Stepstone Center and the Carbondale Community Food Co-op, we’d like to thank all the businesses and individuals who donated time and supplies to help make the second annual Fashion Show benefit such a wonderful success.Proceeds from this benefit are supporting both our organizations. Thank you: Catherine Store Wine and Liquor, Peppino’s, Mr. C’s, Dos Gringos, Main Street Liquors, the Hideouts, Stone Brewing Company, Access Roaring Fork, Skip and Patty Naft, KDNK, the Sirens of Swing, “Bucky,” Cody Lyon, Mariana Velazquez-Schmahl, Billy Laemmel, Ralph at Roaring Fork High School, Bob Becker, Amber Palocheck, John Palmer and the 60-plus fashion models, “talent” stars and other volunteers that made this year’s extravaganza so amazing. Aspen rugby returns home after long absence, routs Vail on Wagner


Playing at home for the first time in nearly two years, the Gentlemen of Aspen Rugby Club overcame an apparent lack of size compared to the Vail side en route to a 49-14 win on Saturday at Wagner Park in downtown Aspen. Prior to hosting Vail, the Gents hadn’t played at home since Ruggerfest in the fall of 2019.
