‘State of the River’ meeting set in El Jebel
Aspen, CO Colorado
EL JEBEL – An annual Roaring Fork “State of the River” meeting will be held Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Eagle County Community Center in El Jebel.
The meeting will be presented by the Colorado River District and Roaring Fork Conservancy. Discussions will include how this year’s snowpack will translate into stream flows, Ruedi Reservoir levels and releases, as well as what is being done to protect and manage Roaring Fork basin rivers.
The meeting will feature presentations by State Rep. Kathleen Curry and local water experts Ken Neubecker, Scott Balcomb and Ken Ransford on the challenges of the “right to float” issue.
