St. Patrick’s dinner is Monday at St. Mary in Aspen
The 128th annual St. Patrick’s Day Fundraising Dinner is set from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at St. Mary Catholic Church, 533 E. Main St., Aspen.
Cost is a donation to the St. Mary Charity Assistance Fund, which helps those in need throughout the Roaring Fork Valley.
The dinner’s menu remains the same for the past 128 years: roast beef and pork roast, homemade mashed potatoes, fresh cole slaw, green beans and desserts served with ice cream. Irish music will be provided by the Crowlin’ Ferlies, and beer, wine and soft drinks are available in the heated tent.
A silent auction will be held from 4 to 7:30 p.m., with such items as a one-night stay at the Viceroy, commemorative X Games 2014 medallion set, dog-sled ride, Apple products, private cooking class, local restaurant and retail gift certificates, artwork and handmade gifts, among others.
