Squirm Night set for June 22

A forum for the three candidates vying for Pitkin County commissioner is set for 2 p.m. June 22 at the GrassRoots Community Network television studio, 110 E. Hallam Ave., Suite 132.

The Squirm Night, or make that Squirm Day, event is being put on by The Aspen Times and Aspen Daily News. Editors from both newspapers will moderate the forum. The event is open to the public.

Grassroots will broadcast the event live with repeat broadcasts set for 6 and 8 p.m. June 22, as well as other dates.

Hawk Greenway, Greg Poschman and Scott Writer are vying for the seat Michael Owsley is vacating because of term limits.

A primary is set for June 28. The top two vote-getters will square off in the November elections.
