Squirm Night returns in Aspen

ASPEN – Squirm Night, the traditional candidates debate sponsored by Aspen’s two daily newspapers, will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the studios of GrassRoots Television, which will broadcast the event live. The public is invited to attend.

From 6 to 7 p.m., Pitkin County commissioner candidates Steve Child and John Young will go head to head. From 7 to 8 p.m., incumbent District Attorney Martin Beeson and challenger Sherry Caloia will appear.

The moderators will be managing editors Rick Carroll, of The Aspen Times, and Curtis Wackerle, of the Aspen Daily News.
