Squashing a Kiwi’s love of music
As a Kiwi who has experienced the Double Diamond on many occasions, I’d like to express my extreme disappointment and sadness at the tragic loss we have all suffered!
Where am I to go when I return to Aspen – not even Grottos is there to comfort me. Where are all the good bands going to play? Red Rocks? If a petition to reopen the DD emerges, please forward a copy to me and I will gladly sign – along with the many Kiwis back here who now feel the empty hole in our hearts left by the Double Diamond’s departure.
Bring Back DD!!!!
P.S. … if this gets printed … See you soon Sue Geist! We’ll be back!

Aspen Police, neighbors apply for bear management grant
Aspen and Pitkin County have the largest black bear population and as such, are hoping for a big portion of a Colorado Parks and Wildlife grant to help educate and enforcement rules around securing trash.
