But the Breckenridge Bucks left them seeing red.

The visiting Bucks held on for a tense 5-4 victory over the Aspen Leafs on Friday night at the Aspen Ice Garden in a key Rocky Mountain Junior Hockey League game.

Breckenridge scored four goals in the second period to skate into the final period with a 5-3 advantage.

Aspen's Tommy Bowe scored an unassisted goal with 13:11 remaining to pull the Leafs within a single goal at 5-4.

But the Aspen Leafs complicated their comeback when they were whistled for a 5-minute major penalty and a game ejection to Trent Luby, giving the Bucks an extended power play late in the game.
