Dear Editor:

I find it very timely that both Aspen daily papers had a picture of local teenagers protesting the destruction of the firehearth in downtown Aspen (Feb. 22).

The city of Aspen thinks that a $900,000 wave pool will attract teens. It seems just a simple meeting place is what they want. I’m so proud of you girls!
