Something fishy going on

Dear Editor:

Driving between Durango and Aspen twice a week, I am running into a large number of trucks with pipes and other gear on them.

Investigating further, I find out it is the Gunnison Energy Co., whose CEO is Bill Koch.

Yes, the same Koch who wants a guardrail on Castle Creek Road.

The company is drilling all over the area south and west of the Thompson Divide area. My question would be this: How much fracking is involved, and are groundwater supplies being affected? Are any of the wells near the new old Western town he is building off the Kebler Pass road? Just wondering about all this.
