Some wild stories worth hearing

Dear Editor:

The Basalt Regional Heritage Society is sponsoring our Summer Chat with a Roaring Fork Valley cowgirl, Anita Witt.

Come join us in an afternoon of wit and wisdom with Anita as she shares her life story. She has interviewed many local cowboys and written the famous book, “They Came from Missouri,” about families living in our Missouri Heights area. She’s leaving her horse at home, but come to the Basalt Library community room, this Saturday at 1:30 p.m., and enjoy the wild stories.
