Re: Basalt High School science faculty

The science faculty of Basalt High School would like to thank the Roaring Fork Public Education Foundation and its supporters for once again supporting us in our efforts to provide an excellent science education to the students of Basalt High School. Last spring, the Foundation provided funds for one of our teachers to attend a conference to learn strategies and techniques to effectively teach an Advanced Placement course. This fall the foundation provided funds that helped with the purchase of LCD projectors for two classrooms. These projectors will enhance student learning by allowing us to convey information visually, utilize online resources and conduct laboratory simulations as a class.
