Snowmass fire calls: Jan. 12 to 18

The Snowmass-Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following emergency calls from Jan. 12 to 18.

JAN. 12

Fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road, the Seasons Four condominiums. The alarm system was activated by steam from a shower.

Fire alarm at 640 Carriage Way, the Laurelwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to 1250 Divide Road, the restaurant at Krabloonik, for a person who felt light-headed. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at 563 Edgewood Lane. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Fire call to Owl Creek Road just past Two Creeks Drive for a car that had slid off the road into a utility box. The police wanted to know if it was safe to tow the car out. It had hit a cable box so it was determined to be safe.

Medical call to 160 Snowmass Club Circle for a person suffering from breathing issues and altitude sickness. One person was evaluated by the ambulance crew but they refused transportation to the hospital.

JAN. 13

Medical call to 84 Carriage Way, the restaurant “Sake,” for a person suffering from a seizure. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call to 105 Daly Lane, the Snowmass Clinic, for a person suffering from a fractured lower leg. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to Roaring Fork Transportation Authority Bus Depot on Daly Lane for an intoxicated person. Our response was canceled by the Snowmass Village Police Department.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Fire for an auto accident at 500 Brush Creek Road to assist with the cleanup of vehicle fluids.

JAN 14

Fire alarm at 229 Faraway Road, the Ridge Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol pick-up location, for a person suffering from a fractured femur. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at 70 Commons Circle, the Commons employee housing complex. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Fire alarm at 690 Carriage Way, the Timberline Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to a home on Faraway Road for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call to a home on Streamside Court for a person who was suffering from flu symptoms. One person was evaluated by the ambulance crew but they refused transportation to the hospital.

JAN. 15

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol pick-up location, for a person suffering from an altered level of consciousness. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call to the Timbers ski patrol pick-up location for a person who was unconscious but responsive to pain with an unknown mechanism of injury. One person was transported code to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol pick-up location, for a person suffering from a possible left humerus fracture. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Medical call to 198 Gallun Lane, the ski patrol, pick-up location, for a person who had hit a rock and was suffering from possible rib injuries and difficulty breathing. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Fire alarm at a home on Bridge Lane. The alarm system was activated by children playing with a smoke detector. The alarm system was reset by the occupants.

Fire alarm at a home on Hidden Lane. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Elevator alarm at 360 Wood Road, the Enclave Condominiums. No one was trapped upon our arrival and both elevators were operating normally.

JAN. 18

Medical call to 70 Commons Club Circle, the Commons employee housing complex, for a person who was ill. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Streamside Court. The alarm system was activated by steam from a shower. No carbon monoxide was detected.

Medical call to the Daly Lane Bus Depot for a person suffering from a laceration to their hand. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for treatment.
