In the June 12, 1974 Aspen Today paper, the Snowmass Pop series lineup was announced by Rainbow Associates to be held in the Snowmass Pavilion in the West Village mall. “The series will consist of 10 concerts,’ organizer Bob Schuster said, ‘and we invite all the help we can get.’ The concerts for the summer will be Loudon Wainwright III, Homebrew and Dan Ford and Friends, June 18 at 9:00 PM. Gordon Lightfoot will be July 13, following a special concert on the Fourth of July … Jackson Brown will be in concert on July 20. He will be followed by fiddler Doug Kershaw, August 3, the Up With People concert August 10, Jose Feliciano, August 18, Bonny Raitt, August 24 and the series will end with The New Riders of the Purple Sage on September 2.”
