Fire calls, Oct. 6-11

Staff report

The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Oct. 6-11.

October 6

Carbon monoxide alarm at a home on Lake Wildcat Road. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction as no carbon monoxide was detected.

October 9

Medical call to the fire station for a person who had come in suffering from shortness of breath. One person was evaluated and transported to Aspen Valley Hospital by private vehicle for treatment.

October 10

Medical call to 16 Kearns Road for a person suffering from a cut head. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Fire alarm at the Stonebridge Inn. The alarm system was activated by a possible system malfunction as no smoke or fire conditions were found.

Fire alarm at the Viceroy hotel. The alarm system was activated by smoke coming from a candle.
