The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from July 27 through Aug. 2.

July 27

Medical call to the Town Park Center for a person having a seizure. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical alarm at a home on Two Creeks Drive. The alarm was accidentally activated by an electrician working on the house. There was no emergency at this location.

Medical call to the Top of the Village Condominiums for a person suffering from chest pain. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

July 28

Fire call to a home on Bridge Lane for a gas leak. The leak was caused when a backhoe hit a one-inch gas line. Source Gas was contacted and the area was evacuated. Source Gas stopped the leak and repaired the gas line.

Fire alarm at 35 Lower Woodbridge Road. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

July 29

Fire alarm at a home on Burnt Mountain Drive. The alarm system was activated by a surge in the fire suppression system. The incident was turned over to the property management company.

Fire alarm at the Timberline Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

July 30

Medical call to the intersection of Elk Camp Work Road and Verde Trail for a person injured in a bicycle accident. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Gas alarm at a home on Spruce Ridge Lane. The alarm system was accidentally activated.

Medical call to the intersection of Verde and Government Trails for a person injured in a bicycle accident. The call was handled by the Snowmass Mountain Rangers. No patient was seen.

July 31

Medical call to the Treehouse Snowmass Mountain Ranger pickup location for a person suffering from a chest injury. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Mutual aid requested by Aspen Ambulance District to respond to a medical call on Castle Creek Road. The response was canceled.

Carbon monoxide alarm at the Sonnenblick Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a possible malfunction as no carbon monoxide was found.

Medical call to a home on Emmy Lane for a person who was sick. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

August 1

Medical call to the Snowmass Ski Area for a person injured in a bicycle accident. One person was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at a home on Gambel Way. The alarm system was activated by a possible system malfunction as no smoke or fire conditions were found.

Medical call to the Wildwood Lodge for a person who was injured in an assault. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

August 2

Medical call to Town Park, where the Colorado Scottish Festival was being held, for a person possibly having a seizure. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.
