The Snowmass Wildcat Fire Protection District responded to the following calls from Feb. 16-22.

February 16

Medical call to the Snowmass Club men’s locker room for a person who had fainted and was unresponsive. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a shoulder injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Mutual aid requested by Basalt Fire for two ambulances and one fire engine to respond to mile marker 30 on Highway 82 for a multiple vehicle accident/. The response was canceled before arriving at the incident.

Carbon monoxide alarm at 229 Faraway Road, The Ridge condominiums. No carbon monoxide was detected. Property management had just changed out the battery.

Fire alarm at 130 Wood Road, the Viceroy Snowmass. The alarm system was activated by a possible system malfunction as no smoke or fire conditions were found.

February 17

Medical call to the Daly Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a compound fracture of the lower leg. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Village Mall bus depot for a person suffering from a hip injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a head injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a head injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at 400 Wood Road, the Crestwood Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Medical call to the Viceroy for a person suffering from vomiting. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

February 18

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from abdominal pain. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Gallun Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a head injury. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Daly Lane Ski Patrol pickup location for a person suffering from a facial injury. One person was evaluated at the scene and refused transportation to the hospital.

Medical call to the Viceroy for a person suffering from abdominal pain. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at 381 Ridge Road, the Deerbrook Condominiums. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

Fire alarm at a home on Saddleback Lane. The alarm system was activated by a smoke condition caused by a closed fireplace flue.

Medical call to 35 Upper Woodbridge Road for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

February 20

Fire call to the intersection of Upper Carriage Way and Fall Lane for a semi truck that had gotten stuck on the rocks and was leaking oil and fluid. Our crew containment the hazardous fluids.

Medical call to a home on Pine Lane for a child that was choking. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a fractured pelvis. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Medical call to Owl Creek Road above the town shop for a rollover accident. One patient was transported the Snowmass Clinic.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from a collapsed lung. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.

Fire alarm at 70 Club Commons. The alarm system was activated by a cooking error.

February 21

Fire alarm at 425 Wood Road. The alarm system was activated by a broken sprinkler head. The scene was turned over to property maintenance.

Medical call to the Snowmass Clinic for a person suffering from shortness of breath. One patient was transported to Aspen Valley Hospital for further treatment.
