Snowmass to host 2010 tourism conference

SNOWMASS VILLAGE ” Snowmass Village has been chosen to host the 2010 Governors Colorado Tourism Conference. The conference is expected to bring as many as 500 tourism professionals to Snowmass Village in September 2010.

Kim McNulty, director of the Colorado Tourism Office, cited the town’s new Base Village as a reason for its nomination.

“The town is going through such an exciting time of development, and we are pleased to showcase the entire community with the state’s travel and tourism industry,” McNulty said.

“We’re pleased to welcome everyone with genuine Snowmass hospitality, and to showcase our amazing new product,” said Susan Hamley, marketing director for the town of Snowmass Village, in a press release.
