Snowmass roundabout work resumes Monday

Staff report

Motorists in Snowmass Village can expect lengthy delays next week as the Brush Creek roundabout project enters its fourth and final phase of construction.

Beginning Monday, road crews will be milling and prepping the area for new asphalt. Once the milling is complete, the entire project area is scheduled for the final lift of asphalt and striping Sept. 26–30. One-lane closures will be in place during this two-week period to allow construction crews to mill and pave each section of the road. Traffic will only be allowed through the project area in alternating directions.
