Snowmass needs Base Village
Snowmass’ local economy and tax base is shrinking so much that the town has already started cutting back on services and raising fees. If we want to improve our roads or create new recreational facilities, like a community pool, without raising local taxes or having to pay for new bonds, then we need to find new sources of tax revenue.
The right kind of development – like the Base Village – can help keep our taxes low and the quality of our town’s services high.
