Snowmass Doubles volleyball tourney this weekend

Bump, set, spike.

Again.

The familiar volleyball repetition will be repeated throughout the weekend with the return of the Snowmass Doubles tournament, sponsored by Volleyball of the Rockies.

Play takes off Saturday in the men’s and women’s doubles tournaments, the sand open tournament as well as grass tournament play.

Matches were scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on the courts at the Snowmass Recreation Center and Snowmass Town Park.

Play will continue Sunday with open division competition as well as grass court play.

The tournament finals are set for early afternoon Sunday.

Tournament activities kicked off Thursday and Friday with coed play.

This marks the third year of the Snowmass Doubles, which made its debut in 2013.
