SNOWMASS VILLAGE – The Snowmass Village Town Council on Tuesday authorized Town Manager Russ Forrest to enter a pre-annexation agreement with the owners of Clear W Ranch in the Popish Valley.

The valley is the portion of Wildcat Ranch that was not annexed into town with the rest of it. One single-family residence and some accessory structures are on the property, according to documents provided to the council.

The council’s authorization does not include any approvals, such as waiving the restricted housing requirement as the applicant requested or determining what the town could use the undeveloped land for.

The officials also approved some repairs for the Mountain View II building to address some foundation issues that have impacted sidewalks and covered walkways on the site.

The council also called an executive session in between agenda items to meet with housing manager Joe Coffey.
