FRISCO, Colo. ” Low visibility and falling snow kept searchers from looking Wednesday for the body of a snowmobiler who died in the mountains west of Denver.

John McKibben, of Kremmling, was one of three snowmobilers who became lost during a planned one-day trip Sunday.

Craig Morris, of Florida, and Murry Melloni, of Littleton, were rescued Tuesday night after authorities received text messages from them earlier in the day. The men said McKibben had died Monday night.

Summit County sheriff’s spokeswoman Paulette Horr said the weather kept searchers from looking for McKibben’s body Wednesday morning.

Morris and Melloni had frostbite but were listed in good condition Wednesday at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs.
