Snow back in Aspen forecast

ASPEN ” Saturday morning. That was the last report of fresh snow in the Aspen Skiing Co.’s daily report. But skiers and boarders should find a new round of freshies heading into the weekend, with snow in the forecast Wednesday through Friday.
The National Weather Service is calling 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation on Wednesday in the Aspen area. A 30 percent chance of snow is forecast Wednesday night, followed by a 50 percent chance on Thursday. Snow accumulations of 4 to 7 inches are expected Thursday night after midnight, says the weather service.
Another 4 to 7 inches is forecast on Friday, with highs in the 20s and northwest winds of 10 to 15 mph. More snow is possible Friday night, followed by colder temperatures for the weekend (wind chill readings of 2 to 12 below zero are forecast Sunday morning).

Longhorn seniors clear final hurdles to graduate from Basalt High School
