Small business needs Tim

Dear Editor:Mick Ireland’s comment on the radio saying that “he would like to see the Aspen economy shrink” is a scary one for me. As owner of a local business, I want to help my team build a sustainable and prosperous future rather than see them lose their ability to work in Aspen.I am glad that we finally we have a mayoral candidate who understands and supports local business owners. Tim has been involved in this community for a long time owning a running his own business and building homes. His wife successfully runs two retail stores. He understands the realities and challenges of staying alive and being successful in this unique market, and these are skills that will well serve him as our mayor. Further, he has real solutions to help other local business owners with the expansion of the SCI zones and alleys.Let’s help Tim bring his knowledge and skills to the service of our community by voting for him for mayor on May 8.Clint PhillipsAspen Back Institute
