DENVER – A Florida man is suing a Pennsylvania man for allegedly skiing into him at Snowmass Ski Area last year.

Dr. James R. Margolis filed a negligence lawsuit in Denver’s federal court this week against Bernard Breen. Margolis claims that on March 20, 2009, Margolis was the downhill skier and had the right of way, but Breen struck him from behind.

The suit alleges that Margolis suffered “complex ocular trauma of his left eye,” which required surgery.

The suit was filed by Glenwood Springs lawyer Sander N. Karp.
