Sister Cities leaves positive impact

Dear Editor:

Our son Burke just returned from Chamonix, France, with the Sister Cities school program. It was a life-changing experience. He came home speaking French throughout our home, telling us all about the French culture and landscape. He stayed in a wonderful home where they spoke French to him at all times, unless he needed help with certain words. He bonded closely with the group that went and came home a more independent and more confident boy.

We want to express our sincere thanks to the Sister Cities Committee, to the chaperones Georgina Levy and Isabel Day, and to the city of Aspen for its support of the program. We are so blessed to raise our sons here, and the Sister Cities program is one of the many things that enables our kids to grow and change in a learning environment.

We are deeply thankful and ask that everyone involved in this organization realize you are helping to change lives.
