Single-minded parents

We have heard that on Sept. 4, at 4 p.m., a group of people are holding a meeting at the elementary school to try to stop the program of yoga in the classroom.

This meeting has been called by a group of parents who are fearful that yoga will indoctrinate their children in a religion different from the one chosen by the parents.

The only fear these parents should have of yoga is that it will broaden the children’s minds, making them realize the single-mindedness of their parents.

A suggestion from two 25-year parents and yoga practitioners (one a true Christian and one a true Jew): Don’t take this opportunity away from our next generation.
