Singing Singer’s praises

I’m appalled at the criticism Dr. Singer has received about his offering free glaucoma screenings to the Latino community. For those of you who feel left out by his original decision, bear in mind that anyone can get free glaucoma tests at the AVH Health Fair.

So, when you think about it, nobody in the valley is left out, and it just seems to me that Dr. Singer merely identified a segment of the community at greater risk for glaucoma and is doing something about it.

Look, I don’t condone anyone being in this country illegally, but I also don’t condone anyone going blind because they are afraid to see a doctor or show up at the Health Fair. If you ask me, the world could use more doctors like David Singer.
