Show some proof
September 22, 2012
A committee (not ours, of course) supporting the proposed Castle Creek hydroelectric project is distributing a flier. It says that the project would “reduce the city’s consumption of coal by 5 million pounds annually.”
That sounds impressive. It might even impress me if it could be substantiated.
I request that the proponents of the project who have asserted this as fact to back it up with numbers connecting the proposed plant with a reduction of coal usage. I request that they cite reliable sources. Then those data and their sources could be evaluated by the citizens.
We await the data.
