Shoot for a winning photo

ASPEN ” Photo opportunities abound come the Fourth of July. Parades, fireworks, smiling faces, barbecues and the Stars and Stripes all offer colorful images for shutterbugs.

The Aspen Times is inviting readers to submit their best Independence Day shot or shots and offering up a couple of dinners for two at Jimmy’s An American Restaurant and Bar as the prize.

Readers are invited to submit their photo entries online at aspentimes.com. The Photo Contest link can be found below the News headlines on our website. The deadline for entries is July 8.

The online audience is invited to vote for their pick for the best photo, and the Aspen Times editorial board will select a winner, as well. Both winning entries win certificates for dinner. The winners will be announced July 13.
