As we near the onset of another tourist season, I feel it is important for locals to stop and realize what makes this town so incredible. Within this world-renown, jet-setting hotspot is just a small town with amazing individuals standing behind causes in which they believe.
I feel blessed to know so many of these Aspen locals who quietly donate their time, money and services for the organizations that they feel makes our community stronger and better. One of these business owners is Mark Campisi of Domino’s Pizza. Mark’s quiet generosity toward organizations within this valley is overwhelming. I have found that Domino’s Pizzas are donated to so many nonprofit events in which I have been involved. I have never heard of a request denied by Domino’s. In addition this magnanimous support is provided without fanfare or any hope of public accolade. Mark’s generosity should be taken as an example to all of us.
Thanks, Mark, for all that you do.
On Monday night, the City Council listened to ideas for each old building. However, nothing laid out what the community space would actually entail — only aspirations and gathered community comment.
