Sheriff’s candidate to hold campaign event

ASPEN – Pitkin County Sheriff candidate Patrick “Rick” Leonard is inviting the public to a campaign event Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Pitkin County Library meeting room.

Leonard’s invitation said he will give a presentation titled, “A Case for Change.”

Leonard is running against current Pitkin County Undersheriff Joe DiSalvo. Leonard placed a distant second in the primary but advanced to the Nov. 2 general election because he came in second in a three-candidate field.
