‘Sexy’ Jerome restaurant planned

An upscale restaurant is planned inside the Hotel Jerome, which is scheduled for a major renovation sometime this year.Jerome owner Christy Everest signed a contract with Adam Tihany, a renowned restaurant designer, Sunday in Colorado Springs, according to a report in Tuesday’s Denver Post. Tihany designed the new $5 million Summit restaurant at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Everest also owns that hotel.Tihany told the Post that the Jerome eatery “will be sexy enough for everyone to feel comfortable.”Tony DiLucia, the Jerome’s general manager, declined to comment further, saying more information will be released in a couple of months.
