Sex videos lead to Eagle-Vail arrests

EAGLE-VAIL, Colo. ” Two men have been accused of making two video tapes of juveniles that were “sexual in nature,” according to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Office.

Charles Ross, 37, was found to have owned a bag with several credit cards, pieces of identification and a court document from Eagle County courts belonging to Ross, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The arrest came after sheriff’s deputies investigated a report of a “suspicious bag” that was found in a dumpster at River Run Apartments in Eagle-Vail Dec. 14.

“Further investigation confirmed Ross to be the owner of the bag, and that he had created two video tapes, sexual in nature, of juveniles,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a press release.

Ross was arrested on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child, 18 counts of identity theft and theft by receiving, possession of a financial device and four outstanding arrest warrants, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Jessie Medina, 24, of Gypsum, helped Ross record the underage juveniles.

Ross and Medina are being held in Eagle County jail $87,037 and $25,000 bonds, respectively.
