Snowmass Villagers have just shy of a month left to provide feedback on proposed regulations for short-term rentals in the town.

The Snowmass Village Town Council has reached a consensus to establish a permit system for short-term rentals and now seeks comments on the rules that could potentially be associated with permit regulations.

An online feedback form is open through July 31, and includes questions on potential safety, occupancy and rental night regulations. There is also space to provide general feedback.

Proposed regulations include a permitting system and safety requirements for short-term rentals as well as some restrictions.

One proposed regulation would limit single-family homes to 56 short-term rental nights per year; another would limit short-term rental occupancy to two people per legal bedroom, plus four additional people in the residence.
For more information, visit tosv.com/str. The link to provide feedback is included on that page under “STR Feedback Form,” along with links to the proposed regulations and permit requirements.
