Sending kids the wrong message
Dear Editor:
“SPRING FEVER AT CLUB CHELSEA! Pimps and Hos Party.” I was flabbergasted when I saw this ad in the March 19 Aspen Daily News. How proud Club Chelsea must be to have fallen to a new low. Many upstanding businesses are failing in this community and it pains me to witness their demise. Our community would however be well served if Club Chelsea would join them and as soon as possible.
No value is added to Aspen by Club Chelsea but I am sure someone is lining their pockets, clearly with no regard to what such events say to our children and others. And oh, by the way, I thought newspapers could use discretion in accepting advertisements so I question who at the newspaper accepted this ad.
