Loren and Crystal Cunningham are friends of mine. They are friends of Jim Hanna’s, too. Last Wednesday, Jim and I went to Denver to see Loren [who was injured in a high-speed accident on Highway 82].

We were fortunate in that the family let us spend some time with Loren. He’s staying at St. Anthony-Central in Denver in intensive care. He’s started his recovery process.

That Tuesday he had surgery to repair his diaphragm. On Wednesday afternoon he went into surgery to continue the repair work to his legs. He has no brain or spinal column injuries, fortunately. He is sedated.

Loren responds to outside stimulus from his loved ones. His healing process is going to be a long one. Please send Loren your love, prayers and best wishes.
