Search turns up no clues on N.J. man reported missing in Breckenridge

The Associated Press
Aspen, CO Colorado

BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. ” Police say the search for a New Jersey man who was last seen leaving a bar in Colorado has turned up no evidence on his whereabouts.

The family of 23-year-old Alphonse “Mike” Barbiere of Wyckoff says he was vacationing in Colorado, in Breckenridge, with friends.

Friends told police that they went to a bar late Thursday and Barbiere walked out, highly intoxicated, into snowy, windy weather. He was reported missing Friday.

Fifty-eight searchers and three dogs found no clues Sunday as to where he went.

Police hope to talk to bar patrons who interacted with Barbiere before he disappeared.

His family says he is a Wall Street trader and graduate of New York University.
