Search on after report of ice climber falling near Redstone

Mountain Rescue Aspen and Carbondale and Rural Fire Protection District this afternoon are assembling a team to search for an ice climber near Redstone.

Responders got the call at about 12:30 p.m. that an ice climber had fallen an unknown distance from a climb near Redstone, said Alex Burchetta, Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office public information officer.
