Scouts say thanks

Thanks to the generous donation of over 150 chairlift chairs from Aspen Skiing Co., the Basalt Girl Scouts recently held a very successful fund-raiser.

We would especially like to thank the Skico’s Doug McKenzie and Hans Hohl, A Great Find, Castle Creek Construction, KSNO, Colorado West Distributing, The Fruit Stand at Buttermilk and the Girl Scouts of Chipeta Council for their help and generosity.

Thanks also to each of you who bought a chair from the Girl Scouts. The sale was a valuable learning experience for the girls and the funds will be used to make the Girl Scout program in this valley grow even stronger.
