Save the snow

Dear Editor:

Bill McKibben is one of the world’s leading climate experts, and his latest effort is Project 350. Bill worked to involve people from all around the world and motivate us into action on climate change. He now has started a grassroots movement of an International Day of Climate Action on Oct. 24 called Project 350. As a community, we will gathering 350 locals (and lots more for a fun time!) to spell out SAVE SNOW. The photo from the event will be sent to our world leaders at the Climate Summit in Copenhagen this December. This is a hands-on, free, take-action and really fun way to be a part of the solution.

The event is on Oct. 24 at 3 p.m. at the Gondola Plaza at the bottom of Little Nell. After the photo the band Powder Hounds is playing, and there will be a drawing for really great prizes. Come be a part of project 350 and Save Snow!
