Save the planet

Dear Editor:

Our biggest problem in the world right now is climate change.

Do you want our world’s ice caps disappearing? Climate change is making the north and southern ice caps melt. If the world’s ice caps melt away, where will the world’s population of penguins, polar bears and krill live? If they leave the world then soon other animals will die out and that leads to extinction of many other animals. It’s part of the food chain.

If climate change gets to the desert, what will happen? Will it rain so much that it will become a huge world lake? Or will it get hotter and have all the struggling plants dying away? What if it reaches the mountains, what will happen? Will the mountains tumble down to nothing? Or will the mountains build up?

These things will happen if we don’t stop climate change. Our world will disappear if we don’t stop to help it. Our mother earth will vanish if we don’t help it. Now it’s up to us to save our wonderful life supporting plant. I want my grandchildren to see this world like it is.
