Dear Editor:If you follow the logic people use when they make decisions, it looks like Aspen’s Entrance to Aspen will always be through the S-curves. Here’s why … after watching the City Council meetings on TV and reading articles in the papers that Aspen City Council member Rachel Richards, along with Mayor Klanderud, Jack Johnson, Torre and J.E. DeVilbiss, voted to keep the recycle center drop-off location where it is in the Rio Grande Park BECAUSE the center has been in the current location for years and has “taken on a sense of permanence.” I guess the same logic can be applied to Aspen’s Entrance through the S-curves. The S-curves have ALWAYS been there … so why change the Entrance? Toni KronbergAspen
