Ruth speaks the truth

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:

Mrs. Ruth Brown Perry’s recent letter reflects the morality that our nation was founded on – that has made us a strong, leading force for good and an opponent of evil in the entire world.

Are we, like the Roman Empire, becoming immoral and rotten? Where strong values of behavior guide us in a path of the betterment of mankind, no longer matter. The old-fashioned strict patterns of life must be returned, if we are to survive.

Mrs. Brown, a first lady of Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley, has given us a real heads-up.

Please listen to her admonitions.
