Ruggerfest a success
Dear Editor:Thanks to all who made the 42nd annual Aspen Ruggerfest a great success. Without the teams who traveled from around the country and as far away as New Zealand there wouldn’t be a tournament, so thanks go to all the teams: Brothers for Life, Massey Maulers, Virginia Cardinals, Missouri Black and Blue, Denver Harlequins, Boulder, Colorado SOBs, Firecreek RFC, Florida Old Boys, Kansas City Blues Brothers, Misfits, Denver Highlanders, Omaha GOATS, Albuquerque Ardvarks, Denver Barbarians, Dallas RFC, New Mexico Brujos, and of course, the Gentlemen of Aspen. Thanks to our team of referees and in particular, referee coordinators Jim Russell, Charlie Haupt and Richard Cortez.Without the following people, the oldest rugby tournament in the United States would not be possible.
