Rubey Park impact schedule updated

The first phase of Rubey Park redevelopment project will require the reconstruction of Durant Street between Mill and Galena streets from approximately May 4 to June 1, according to officials.

Drivers will need to find alternate routes and follow posted detours. Roaring Fork Transportation Authority bus loading and unloading will be adjusted to the following locations: city routes to load behind Rubey Park; BRT/Valley routes to load in front of Wagner Park; Burlingame route to load on the south side of Durant near the Little Nell; and all buses will unload on the north side of Durant Avenue between Galena and Hunter streets.

Some parking spaces will be unavailable during the construction period. In addition, some traffic control measures can be expected on Durant near the Dancing Bear. All information about the Rubey Park renovation can be found at
