Rotarian thanks

Aspen Times writer

Dear Editor:On behalf of the newly formed Club Rotario Roaring Fork, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the individuals who helped us during our formation stages, which ultimately led to our charter night on Friday June 18 at the Hotel Colorado.Their encouragement and support provided the catalyst needed for action, and now we embark upon a rewarding voyage. We will provide our efforts in a way that “helps build goodwill and peace in the world,” this being one of the pillars of Rotary International. We would especially like to thank the following people and organizations: Chip and Marie Munday (their tireless efforts and enthusiasm have been inspirational), the Rotary clubs of Aspen and Carbondale (our sponsors), all of the other Rotary clubs in our district and to Wal-Mart in Glenwood Springs and Alpine Bank for their generous donations.Club Rotario Roaring ForkGlenwood Springs
