Romero endorses Frisch
First, many thanks to all the candidates that have “hung it out there” and shown the willingness to serve – all of you deserve our sincere respect and appreciation. Bravo to you all!
As for the council race, I would like to express my support for the candidacy of Adam Frisch. In my humble opinion Adam possesses the necessary skills, perspectives, and abilities to help round out our current council leadership – achieving an essential balance in these challenging times. He understands the importance of gaining and collecting as many inputs and perspectives on the difficult issues, ensuring that the community’s full voice is heard before making the heavy decisions. I like that inclusiveness, and I believe it complements the rest on council that see their role in a similar light.
I also like Adam’s conscience effort to push himself to be fully prepared and ready for the position. Beyond the issues of today, he will continue to demonstrate and apply his critical reasoning skills and good judgment on our behalf as he inevitably faces the new challenges of tomorrow. He’ll serve us well.
One final point – Adam is a family man, squarely in the midst of raising a young family with his equally capable wife and partner Katy. They, like many others in this community, understand the challenge and difficulties of juggling multiple priorities while also attempting to provide important role modeling for their two young children. The fact that they are willing to step up to this additional “call of duty” is both admirable and reflective of their sincere commitment to our great community. That says a lot to me.
Please join me in giving Adam your support in this year’s council race.
